How to be wrong
Have you ever been told that you’re wrong and felt that urge to deny it? Would you like to learn how to combat that feeling? Being wrong is part of being a scientist, and even the most famous scientists, like Einstein, have been wrong many times before. Being wrong isn’t a bad thing, it’s the first step to being right. In this talk I’ll share what it means to be wrong as a scientist, share famous and personal examples, and discuss how to accept and even request feedback.
The Mysteries of the Universe
There are many mysteries of the Universe, but they might not be what you think they are. In this talk, I’ll share what radio astronomy is, what some of the biggest mysteries of the Universe are, and the current and new telescopes we’re using to solve those mysteries.
